# Group Chats

> Mira is the AI member who never sleeps — a true teammate in your Telegram groups

# Group Chats

Mira in a group chat is not a bot that sits in the corner. She's a **participant** — aware of context, remembering decisions, surfacing insights, and jumping in when needed.

Add Mira to any Telegram group and she becomes your team's digital colleague.

## Why Mira in groups

* **Always online** — no sleep, no sick days, no timezone issues
* **Contextual memory** — remembers what was discussed, decided, and delegated
* **Proactive** — surfaces missed updates, summarizes long threads, answers questions
* **Private by design** — your personal memory never leaks into groups, and group context stays in the group

## Topics & threads

In groups with topics enabled, Mira works inside individual threads:

* Each topic gets its own context — Mira doesn't mix threads
* Create a topic like "💡 Ideas" or "📋 Tasks" and Mira will participate there
* Ask Mira to summarize a specific topic: *"Summarize what happened in the Ideas thread"*

## Getting started

1. **Add Mira to your group** — [add to group](https://t.me/mira?startgroup=1\&admin=invite_users+manage_topics) or search @mira in group members
2. **Give admin rights** — invite users + manage topics (recommended)
3. **Start talking** — Mira will introduce herself and join the conversation

<Tip>Mention @mira or reply to her messages to get her attention in busy groups.</Tip>

## Privacy boundaries

<Warning>
  Mira **never** shares your private conversations or personal memory in group chats. Group memory is scoped to the group — it doesn't leak into other groups or your 1-on-1 chat.
</Warning>

Each group is an isolated context:

* **Private → Group**: Never. Your personal facts stay private.
* **Group → Private**: Never. Group discussions don't appear in your DMs.
* **Group → Group**: Never. Each group's memory is separate.

## Try it

Add Mira to a group and try:

```
@Mira, summarize what happened while I was away
@Mira, what were the action items from today's discussion?
@Mira, generate a logo for our project
@Mira, remind everyone about the meeting tomorrow at 3pm
```
