# Moderation

Mira can automatically moderate your Telegram groups — deleting spam, warning users, and enforcing rules.

## Auto-moderation

When Mira has admin permissions, she can:

* **Delete spam** — promotional links, crypto scams, unwanted forwards
* **Warn users** — for rule violations, offensive language
* **Delete messages** — that violate your group rules
* **Mute users** — repeat offenders get timed out

## Setting up rules

Tell Mira your group rules in natural language:

```
Mira, delete any message that contains promotional links
Mira, warn users who use offensive language
Mira, auto-delete messages in all caps longer than 20 words
```

## Custom moderation

You can define specific rules:

* **Content filters** — block specific words, phrases, or link patterns
* **Behavior rules** — no all-caps, no excessive emoji, no flooding
* **Language rules** — allow only certain languages in the chat
* **Welcome messages** — auto-greet new members with custom text

<Tip>Mira learns your group's style over time. The more you interact, the better she moderates.</Tip>

## Privacy

<Info>
  Moderation actions are scoped to the group. Mira doesn't use group content to train models or share it externally.
